- Child Funeral Assistance in Northeast Florida
Every Family Deserves the Dignity of a Meaningful Goodbye
Angels for Allison helps Northeast Florida families with limited financial resources cover funeral costs following the loss of a child.
We support families whose children have died between 20 weeks of gestation and 18 years of age. Each family’s circumstances are different, but every one of them is facing a loss no parent should have to endure.
Nothing can take away their grief. But together, we can help remove the immediate financial burden of arranging their child’s funeral.
Through trusted referring partners, Angels for Allison works directly with the funeral home selected by the family. This gives parents greater choice and the opportunity to honor their child with dignity, care and love.

- Inspired by Allison’s Joyous Spirit
The girl who inspired this mission
Angels for Allison was founded in memory of Allison Brundick Haramis, a joyful, spirited 15-year-old who died in a car accident on April 17, 2009. Her family recognized an unmet need: other families were losing children without the resources to arrange a funeral that reflected their wishes.
Allison loved color, particularly pink and green. Those colors remain part of the Foundation’s identity, a reminder that we carry out this work with warmth, generosity and hope.

They covered our baby's funeral and that heavy burden was lifted. It was such a blessing in such a dark time.
— An Angel family
Financial assistance is about far more than paying a bill. It gives a grieving family some breathing room, and lets them know their community is willing to stand beside them.
- Your Gift Creates Choice
Your donation creates choice, dignity and relief.
A donation cannot remove a family’s grief, but it can remove one immediate and overwhelming worry. It helps parents choose the arrangement that respects their wishes and prevents financial circumstances from determining how a family says goodbye. Referrals are reviewed by our mission committee, and approved funds are paid directly to funeral homes.
- We Remember Their Names
They are remembered by name.
The babies, children and teenagers whose families we support are known as our Angels. They are not statistics or referral numbers. They are sons, daughters, siblings, grandchildren, classmates and friends. Their names are spoken during our board meetings, keeping every child at the center of our mission. Our care for Angel families also continues beyond the funeral.
The Angelgram Program
A way for families to remember their children and stay connected with Angels for Allison over time.
Annual Memorial Service
A gathering each year to honor our Angels and hold space for the families who love them.
Private Service Community
A place to connect with others who understand the lasting nature of child loss.
- Built Through Community
A network that responds with care.
Angels for Allison works alongside referring professionals, funeral homes, volunteers, donors, sponsors and local businesses throughout Northeast Florida.
Medical professionals, social workers, hospice teams and other approved partners can find referral requirements and submit requests through our secure Referring Partner Portal.
